I chose to paint rather than stain because of the amount of damage to both doors.

I had to repair some of the wood with wood filler, sand it down and then used the “perfect red” to finish it off. It is the same color that I used on my front door as well as a ton of other projects. Don’t forget that you can search my posts in the right sidebar. Type in ” Perfect Red” and see how many fun projects pop up. It is a great way to catch up if you are a new reader……

It is obvious that I love this red.

I have one set of doors left to go.

And now I have time to take you guys along with me.

I have missed chatting with ya‘.

I will share exactly what products I used this weekend, when I finish my second set of doors.

Such an easy way to get new french doors.

This painted french door transformation even surprised me.

I thought that my tired, water damaged, sun-beaten french doors were almost beyond help.

I should know better!

Do you have a door that could be transformed?

A set of doors?

Like this transformation?

I would love to know!

Love,

Me

PS. Thank you for so many emails and prayers as you have followed along in this job search. I have felt them and appreciated your support more than you could ever know. XO!

Congratulations on the new job! I love your “perfect red” doors. I too just found the “perfect red” for my front and back doors. I have been wanting to paint them red for a while but hubby wasn’t too keen on it. So one day while he was working an extra long day I painted them…lol…he came home after dark and said he drove around the neighborhood for a bit trying to find our house…lol…he now loves my red doors!

Love it! I MUST paint my front door and my French doors in the back your “Perfect Red” – as soon as my hubby goes back to work bc he has no faith in my painting abilities (messed up once and can never live it down).
