Peanut Butter Sheet Cake PLUS Giveaway!

My sister makes the BEST Peanut Butter Sheet Cake.

~ Ever.

So, I called her yesterday to get her recipe when I got the hankering for her Peanut Butter Sheet Cake.

~ She obliged.

This is the most awesome peanut butter sheet cake ever.

Easy and I even used generic “IGA” brand peanut butter…..

Just so you know.

Peanut Butter Sheet Cake
Peanut Butter Cake
  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 cup peanut butter
  3. 1 stick margarine (I use butter)
  4. Bring to a boil on medium heat
Peanut Butter Cake
  1. 2 cups sugar
  2. 2 cups flour
  3. 1 t. baking powder
  4. 1/2 t. salt
  5. 2 beaten eggs
  6. 1/2 cup milk
  7. 1 t. vanilla
  8. Mix all together. Then add boiled mixture. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Peanut butter icing
  1. 1 stick margarine
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. 1/2 cup peanut butter
  4. 1 box powdered sugar (3 1/4 cup if you use a bag)
  5. Stir constantly on low heat until spreading consistency. Frost cake.

Someone just had  a great question. If you do not know, you make “sheet cakes” in cookie sheets not “pans”.

      • Rebecca – I am sorry to ask – but what size coookie sheet? I have 3 different sized cookie sheets that have sides on them. I make a Texas Sheet Cake that looks alot like this but is all chocolate and I would think that size pan would work -but want to be sure. I have used too small and cake batter all over the oven and too big dried out the cake. Thanks alot!
