Thoughts into words

Sometimes it is so hard to put thoughts into words.

You probably guessed that since you haven’t heard from me in almost two weeks.

Don’t get me wrong. We have been a little occupied.

But we have LOVED every minute of it.

So much that my womb aches for more little ones here.

Well, if I had a womb it would ache.

I don’t.

Lucky for my husband and older kids. They would freak. Lucky for any babies I would try to have as they would probably freak having an old mom but anyways…..

We take them home to their mommy and daddy soon and my heart hurts.

We have LOVED having them here!!!!!

My sister’s heart yearns for her babies and she has her husband’s parents ready and waiting there to help her care for them when they arrive.

She is recovering well but did learn that she has a different type of cancer than we thought originally. It is not “ductal” and is “pleomorphic lobular carcinoma” associated with focal lobular carcinoma. They raised it a stage and we will find out soon if she will need to follow-up with chemo if it is spread other than through the nodes. Please continue to pray that chemo will not be needed.

Thank you for sticking around and for your patience as I took some time off to be with my niece and nephew.

The time has been sweet.

I thought I would give you a taste of last night. I was cooking dinner and my three-year old nephew said….”Hey! Why don’t we have a bittsy, bitsty, pider, pardy?!”

My daughter and I agreed and this is what followed…..

Enjoy!

I can hardly wait for them to come home but I am so blessed to have a sister and brother that would take care of them so that I had the time I needed in recovery. Thank you so Much!

Your niece and nephew are just so darling and I’m always amazed (and grateful) that kids are able to be so in the moment. They are so blessed to have an aunt like you caring for them and we will continue to pray for your sister (both of them!) and for all of you as you walk down this challenging road as a family. Blessings to you friend! :-)

Hey Rebecca, long time no correspond, I’m sorry!!
I will certainly be praying that your sister, the Mom of those two beautiful babies, will not only not need chemo but also be healed by the grace of our Lord. I have had you in my thoughts and wanted to say hello, when I read this post I knew why you’d been on my mind. Please know that you and your family will be in our prayers.
I had to stop following everything, health issues still but soon to be fixed, (Oct 30 surgery scheduled, your prayers will be appreciated as well).
Rebecca, please don’t forget to take care of you during this time.
Lots of love, thoughts and prayers are coming your way. VintageBeachgirl

  6. What adorable littles! Your family have been on my heart; mine thought I’d totally lost it when I whooped at reading about the good prognosis. Have to pray harder now. Looks like you’ve had fun and I’m sure you’ll be in close contact with your sis when she’s home. What did we do without cells, internet…..? Love,
    Janet
