My name is Rebecca and I have found an ugly mildewed plastic chair.
I’m ashamed.
Bug-ly……
I’m pitiful.
So, I decided to better myself and my chair and I had these…..
And an extra five minutes.
Making it a cinch to take bugly……
And make it beautimous.
This project almost didn’t happen……It took me awhile to find my handy dandy spray nozzle thingy……
Because my daddy had nabbed it……
Robber.
Too many of these had given him a cramped finger….my brother told him he needed to try my Rustoleum comfort grip nozzle thingy….and he is now a “handy dandy nozzle fan”.
He is now a “handy dandy nozzle fan” of MY nozzle.
I think I will have a hard time prying it from his un-cramped fingers.
So….in honor of all things bugly…..my daddy being a robber and un-cramped fingers……….
And because I now had to buy ME a new “handy dandy nozzle” …..
I decided to buy you a NEW one too.
So, I’m giving away a Rustoleum comfort grip to a lucky reader. (If you are just reading this, the giveaway has ended…..sorry! Catch up on the fun stuff that has been going on!)
I will pick one “random” reader from the comments from this post and send you your own “spray paint nozzle thingy.”
Just because I love ya!
Sound good?
Giveaway ends Tuesday night at midnight.
Love,
Me

Warn your Dad that you’re going to call the cops on him for being a thief! Ha! Or better yet, just tell him he owes you for it. Like the way the chair turned out. Those things even when they’re new are, “bugly”!
Just love how you bring things back to life with your magic! I’m a big fan! I just re-did our dining room table…transformed it to an outdoor patio table by following your “Table Re-do” instructions! I used exterior white paint since it was going outside. It was a lot of work but well worth it! Thank you soooo very much! You totally inspire me
)))
This was the “before” pic!
@b754f41a38e4272ccb104b43271b4df5 HONEY CHILD!!! I AM NOT WORTHY!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Mind if I share it this week on the blog??? Do you have your own blog that you have shared it on? NordicGirl2 I have to quietly agree that they are “bugly”….BUT…..they do make for good extra seating. Especially now that my guest aren’t afraid to plop their hiney in them. Love, Me
You kill me every post… I love reading. Glad your hubby is improving. Would really like the spray thingy, could use to change a few “bugly” things around my house
Love you Rebecca, you make me smile when I read your posts. Seems like you keep yourself busy all the time. When do you sleep???? Love the chair I will have to try it I have one of those tired stained chairs too. Keep a look out for a coffee table for me.
Glad to hear Romeo is doing better my sister is getting ready to have one done also.
@b754f41a38e4272ccb104b43271b4df5 Do you mind emailing your photos? I think they may be slowing down the comment section. I am getting emails that other people are trying to email and it is saying “waiting”. I WANT THOSE PHOTOS THOUGH!!!! They are amazing!!!! Please email to rmcd@sccoast.net….Pretty please! Love, Me
@b754f41a38e4272ccb104b43271b4df5 I tried to fix your comment and photos and DELETED them!!!!! Sorry!!!! Please comment again! I am sooooo sorry!

The chair looks great! Glad your Romeo is doing well! I would love to win the spray nozzle thingy;) I have several spray paint projects in the works but it’s either been too hot or too windy to get them done!
Hey, Reb! Pick me, pick me!! You know I’m a big fan – I want to be like you, in fact. You are one of my heroes. And you always make me laugh. You are fun to hang out with. Am I sucking up too much at this point
Seriously, love ya! And I would love to win the handy dandy sprayer thing so I can fix up stuff too – starting with my mother in law’s table & chair. Nyla

Oh good. I need one of these handy thingys and I’m much too lazy to go to the store and get one. It’s much easier if it just comes to my door. Of course that doesn’t bode well for me to actually get off my hiney and use it…but here’s hoping!

I have never tried the plastic paint, but I also have a pathetic chair that needs to be updated like yours! Count me in on your giveaway so I cant pretty it up!
Wow – you have really given new life to that chair! Love your pillow fabric and the colors you used here! And that’s too funny that your Dad snatched the Rustoleum grip! I’ve seen those in the stores but never thought about getting one. I bet it does help a lot!
Thanks for sharing your cute fun post at Charm Bracelet Diva’s party!
I love handy dandy thingees like this. For some reason I did not know that they made this. I have been spray painting forever old-school!
I would love to have a handy dandy spray thingy.
Wow, I love spray painting – but did not know about this “helper” tool. Thanks for enlightening me & your chair turned out great. Can you believe we can spray paint plastic now?!?
Warmly, MIchelle
just started spray painting..and you are right, the fingers get tired quickly these days. beautiful chairover
Just found your blog through Made By You Monday. I never knew about the nozzle thingy. Wow. Been spray painting my old lawn furniture this summer and it was killing my hand. I know, I’m kind of a sissy. Your furniture makeovers are amazing. I will look at things on the curb and garage sales with a different eye, now. I guess you can see the world through spray-paint glasses.
